October 15, 2019 - Day 1: Work to restore electricity to our historic 1843 Town House begins. Former privy will become the utility room for the electric panel.
Starting in the attic, all of the old, hazardous wiring is being removed and new metal-clad wire installed.

October 16, 2019 - Day 2: NH Electric Co-op installed the utility pole. Can you find it among the trees?
November 6, 2019 - Day 3: Meter socket and weatherhead have been installed in a discreet location on the Town House. Can you find where they are?

A new motion-sensor exterior LED floodlight replaces an out-dated, incandescent fixture.
Week of Deceber 9, 2019 - Original, ca.1930 light fixtures are back in place, but now with energy-efficient LED bulbs.

...And after. Original fixtures were refinished by Alexandria Lamp Shop in neighboring Meredith. New glass globes are appropriate for the period.
Two light fixtures hang above the stage. A smoke detector will be installed over the door to the woodshed ell.
Outlets are installed in the floor of the main hall to preserve the visual integrity and beauty of the plaster and wainscot walls.

New emergency exit lighting has been added in the corner of the front porch.
The original light fixture on the porch was also refinished. Emergency lighting is simple in design and unobtrusive.
December 20, 2019 - NH Electric Co-op installed the meter and overhead service wires. Our 1843 Town House now has power! Just a few odds and ends left to finish.
